Here’s your quick digest 👇 1️⃣ T-Mobile expands satellite-to-cell for popular apps (Oct 1) Direct-to-cell now supports WhatsApp, Maps, and X across mobile dead zones. High-latency NTN links are becoming real user traffic, not pilots. 🔹 Why it matters: Your perimeter now includes the sky. App behavior over 500–800 ms RTT changes QoS, retries, and alerting. 🔹 Action: Update QoS for NTN; test app policies on high-latency paths; review roaming/priority rules; tune TCP/QUIC settings; add “SAT mode” to runbooks; validate device compliance when off-grid. 2️⃣ “Almost 1B Salesforce records” breach claim (Oct 3) Actors claim mass theft via help-desk social engineering against companies using Salesforce, not the platform core.
