We also introduced a special Legacy Award in honor of our upcoming 30th anniversary, which recognized contributions that helped define our first 30 years. As we reflect on where we've been and look forward to what's next, one thing is clear: our greatest strength has always been our people.

Now it exists for families who need it. www.LactationNow.AIDaniel Varteresian shared thisAbout a month ago, I started using #Claude for my work at ProsperOps and it kind of broke my brain a little… So I opened up my own account. Started spending nights and weekends just messing around with it, learning how to have it write code for me. One step at a time. Testing ideas. Building things I never thought I could build on my own without a coder friend’s help. Six years in cloud and software taught me what engineering leaders actually care about, the foundational practices worth keeping, and the right questions to ask when building. What I never had was the ability to actually build it. Claude bridged that gap in a way I didn't expect. It didn't just write code, it helped me think through decisions the right way. My first real mini-project was a personal itinerary interactive website for my company's President's Club trip, just to make travel easy for me and my girlfriend. Small stakes, but it worked, and we’re actively using it and that changed something for me. Then I talked to my sister and brother-in-law. They had been sitting on an idea for three years. A real problem with a real solution that they just couldn't figure out how to bring to life. My sister supports so many moms as a RN, BSN, IBCLC and they are texting her at all hours of the day/night - a great problem. She loves being able to be there for them, but also has two kids of her own, and can’t be available around the clock. After that conversation we started building together and that idea is now www.LactationNow.AI, an AI-powered lactation support chat assistant that connects new moms with evidence backed guidance and certified lactation consultants (IBCLCs) for concerns that necessitate clinical follow up. Nova (the bot’s name) keeps conversations private, has been trained on hours of detailed interviews with my sister on how she approaches her current mom’s common needs, and makes sure to provide sources for those that want to dive deeper into the credibility of the information being presented. Here's the number that keeps us up at night: 3.6 million babies are born in the US every year. There are roughly 21,000 certified lactation consultants in the entire country, which works out to about 6 per every 1,000 live births. Most of those consultants are clustered in cities, and in rural areas you may not have access to a single one. That gap is what we're trying to close. We are now in beta and opening the doors. We genuinely want all the feedback, good, bad, brutally honest. This is the kind of thing that gets better the more people push on it. A lot has happened in that time — new products, acquisitions, org changes, new teammates, and plenty of growth, both personally and professionally. I’ve learned a lot from the people around me — teammates who show up, follow through, and care about doing the work well — and to the clients I’ve partnered with, past and present, I've really appreciated your trust and the opportunity to be part of your journey. I’m proud of how we’ve improved over time — not just building more, but helping teams get things done and make decisions with confidence. I'm grateful for the conversations, the wins, the tough moments, and everyone I have worked with along the way. Onward.

Daniel Varteresian liked thisAfter six amazing years, I officially said goodbye to Smartsheet last week. It's hard to put into words what this chapter has meant to me. While I'm excited for what's next, I'll always be grateful for the people who made my time at Smartsheet so memorable. There are far too many people to thank, but I want to recognize a few. To my CS leaders, Caitlin Bennett, Ashley B., Angela Rootshtain, Michelle Hackett, MBA, Paul McCormack, Pam Corrigan, and Matt Higgins, thank you for believing in me and pushing me to grow. Your mentorship and support have had a lasting impact on my career and my life. To all of my Customer Success teammates, thank you for the laughs, the collaboration, and the willingness to always jump in and help each other. You made showing up to work every day something I genuinely looked forward to. And to my incredible sales partners, Timothy Whitman, Iris Schwartz 饒銘勵, Brandon Rawnsley, Ian O'Connor, Kaitlyn Willcoxon, Bethany Carlson, Adam Russell, Nate Evans, Nate Goldstein, Andrew StClair, and so many others, thank you for being true partners in every sense of the word. We celebrated wins together, worked through challenges together, and always kept our customers at the center of everything we did. The relationships I've built over the last six years are what I'll value most, and I know many of them will last well beyond my time at Smartsheet. Now for the exciting part... After spending the last 10.5 years at CarGurus, I was looking for the perfect challenge. C-4 Analytics felt like that opportunity. After 1 week, I’m even more excited about the decision than I was when I accepted the offer. The team has been incredibly welcoming, and it’s been fun getting back into that beginner mindset where every conversation teaches you something new. To everyone at CarGurus, thank you. Ten and a half years is a long time, and I was fortunate to work with some incredibly talented people who challenged me, supported me, and became friends along the way. I’ll always be grateful for everything I learned there. Special shoutouts to all the incredible leaders that treated me like a colleague instead of a direct report. Thank you Mike Connolly, Joe Burke, Patrick Konczewski, Billy Crowell, Patrick R., Joe Kenneally, Christian Galvin, and last but not least Jon Olson. It’s not everyday you get a shoutout from your CEO like this.Daniel Varteresian reacted on thisThis is Will Frattini - he's been at ZoomInfo for 12 years - last month he closed a mid-six figure growth deal with a Fortune 1000 company - even when faced with the threat of everything moving to AI. Will found out that one of his largest customers was moving to Google Gemini - and all the GTM team was going to operate out of it - so he did 4 things right: 1. He built a 2-track deal for them around Gemini. Instead of pitching against the move, he brought them 2 paths: keep running ZoomInfo Copilot as software, or go headless - our data and context flowing straight into Gemini through the ZoomInfo MCP. 2. He got the buyer to build his own business case. A 3-month GTM Studio pilot - audiences and agentic workflows on their real accounts - meant that when it came time to decide, the CIO was looking at results based on his own data. 3. He found the skeptic and matched him with the right messenger. All big deals have skeptics. Will figured out exactly who they were and then brought in an exec with the relationship and made it EASY for our exec. 4. He broke the deal into 2 parts so "we need more time" couldn't kill it. When legal review dragged, he split the contract: 222 ZoomInfo Copilot licenses signed June 30, GTM Studio on a 90-day good-faith POC while review continued. The licenses solved an immediate outbound need for their AEs today. The MCP work makes the enterprise-wide Gemini transition easier tomorrow. Notice none of these strategies are new: 2 options instead of 1; proof instead of promises; the right person delivering the message; and a contract that keeps moving. Will just put everything into practice! 12 years in, he’s still teaching the rest of us how it's done! Let’s go Big Dog!!
