    I won the first place in the NANOG76 hackathon at Washington, DC on June, 9th. I worked with tools such as Scapy, NetworkX, and exaBGP to perform active monitoring in a network which was running an IGP (OSPF). I made use of NetworkX to pull the network topology in terms of the number of paths and number of hops per path and later created and injected probes (a packet with multiple IP GRE headers) into these paths to measure latency and log a ticket with Freshdesk if the latency is beyond a…
