The purpose of this research was to evaluate if the servant leadership style among the hospital's Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs) led to excellent safety grades and higher overall hospital ratings.

This study sought to determine the main leadership style used by clinical professors and other educational leaders in academic settings as well as the leadership style they used when teaching in clinical settings. It was determined that the servant leadership style was predominantly being practiced among these clinical professors in the healthcare setting; whereas, the coaching leadership style was preferred for educational purposes.

Objective: To evaluate how the leadership styles of C-level Executives correlate with the hospital’s ratings. Methods: A qualitative study design was utilized for this study.

Results: Participants who practiced servant leadership style had reported overall highest ratings and profitability.

Conclusions: There is a correlation among those who practiced servant leadership styles.

The objective of this research was twofold. 1) To identify which leadership style is predominant in magnet and non-magnet hospitals and 2) To determine if the servant leadership style was more suitable in the healthcare environments than transformational leadership style?

The title racemate, C13H19NO2, is a pre-dehydration intermediate isolated from the base-catalysed Robinson annulation of (+/-)-2-(2-cyanoethyl)cyclohexanone. Centrosymmetric dimers are formed by reciprocal hydroxyl-to-ketone hydrogen bonding [OO = 2.7902 (13) Å and O-HO = 176°]. One intermolecular C-H...O close contact is found to the hydroxyl group.

The title racemate (C11H14O3) aggregates in the solid as acid-to-ketone hydrogen-bonding catemers [OO = 2.6557 (13) Å and O-HO = 170°], whose components are glide-related. The stereochemistry of the carboxyl group arises spontaneously during the synthesis. One intermolecular C-HO=C close contact was found.

The title racemate, C12H16O3, aggregates in the solid state as translational acid-to-ketone hydrogen-bonded catemers. The stereochemistry of the side chain relative to the ring junction arises spontaneously during the synthesis. The title compound, C6H8O3, is the smallest keto acid yet found to aggregate in the solid as acid-to-ketone hydrogen-bonded catemers. Four translational chains pass through the cell in the a direction [OO = 2.6915 (14) Å and O-HO = 166°]. Two intermolecular C-HO close contacts exist, involving both carbonyl functions.

The title compound, C9H8O3, adopts a conformation in which both substituents lie nearly coplanar with the ring. Asymmetric units aggregate by centrosymmetric carboxyl pairing. Close offset stacking of rings in parallel planes creates intermolecular CC - contacts of 3.322 (3) and 3.352 (3) Å, with an accompanying CO - contact of 3.147 (3) Å and similarly close interactions between O atoms and aromatic systems. One close intermolecular C-HO contact is also present.
