Luma just showed agents that take a brief all the way to delivery. Text, image, video, audio. End to end. Publicis is in. Adidas. Mazda. And that's really cool, but I keep getting stuck on something their CEO said, "Creative work has never lacked ambition, it's lacked execution capacity." And while he's right. But that's the easy part to say. Execution has been the bottleneck for so long that the whole industry built itself around it. Headcount. Rate cards. Entire business models all because production is slow and expensive. So what happens when it's not? You'd think that's good news for everyone, but it's not. Because most brands have been using production complexity as a place to hide. Rounds of revisions. Timelines. Budgets. All of it... a buffer between them and the actual question they've been dodging, which is do you have anything worth saying? You can hand Luma a bad brief and it'll execute beautifully. Fast. Polished. And completely empty. The bottleneck was never production. It was always the thinking. Production just gave everyone an excuse not to notice.
