Over the course of the past few years, we have all begun to witness the most consequential shift in human history with AI. On one hand there is excitement, almost a euphoria about how this technology is going to positively alter the way we work and the way we live. There is enthusiasm about how this technology is going allow us to solve problems, cure diseases and invent the way that we never deemed possible. This energy is palpable. It is everywhere and hard to escape. But on the other hand, people feel a real fear on the downside effects of AI. The need to exercise safety and security for AI. The harmful ways that AI can be used to harm humanity. The fear is so real that people have sometimes felt that most jobs performed by most humans will be replaced or at least refactored with AI. Virtually every company in the world will rethink how they operate, their business model, their differentiation, their workflows, their core value to their customers, and so much more. As every business thinks about the implications of AI and how agentic AI and physical AI impact their core, we felt like it’s time to bring all the big thinkers who are shaping the industry on every dimension of AI. So we gathered few of the best and most consequential leaders shaping this industry in a very unique one day event designed for CIOs, CISOs and other executives to discuss a broad array of topics ranging from the infrastructure needed to power AI to the models to the applications to agents automating workflows all the way to physical AI reimagining how every thing in our world will work in the future. I was incredibly fortunate to have been afforded the chance to work and learn from so many wonderful people, proudly serve my customers, and grow professionally. That being said I’m excited to begin this process for my next professional stop and the challenges that lie ahead. Jeremy Compton reacted on thisJeremy Compton reacted on thisThe night before my biggest talk, I rewrote one sentence forty times. I had never met the people in the room. The event was in a city I no longer lived in. On paper, there was zero reason to feel any pressure at all. And yet I practiced out loud until midnight, then lay in bed running the whole thing on a loop. For years, that kind of pressure embarrassed me. I thought it meant I wasn't confident enough, or calm enough, or senior enough to handle things the way the people I admired seemed to. Then I noticed something. The role I fought for, the talks that landed, the projects I still think about, every one of them came wrapped in that same feeling. So I stopped trying to make the pressure disappear, and I started paying attention to what it was telling me. Pressure is a signal that something matters to you! Pressure is good. Pressure is great. Pressure is one of the most underrated feelings you can have as a human being. I've since figured out how to use that feeling instead of fighting it. I wrote all of them down in this week's INTENT (link below).

I am surrounded by leaders in their respective fields, and the team goes out of their way to support one another. The technology has near limitless potential. Most exciting of all is the clear path I see to helping our customers and communities. I will be partnering with the State of California to improve service delivery with safe, interpretable, and steerable AI. I am grateful to be here and just getting started!

Conducted time and motions study of a portion of Calbee America Inc manufacturing process. Used information to develop standard time and recommend layout improvements to aid the operator. Conducted MOST analysis of recommendations and compared to previous standard time. Suggested improvements had a 10second time reduction per cycle.
