He’s a filmmaker, director, producer, and if you’ve seen This Is Us, you’ve probably seen him there too! He was in Austin promoting a family memoir book he recently released. We talked about his book, his thoughts on AI, and the industry. I was going through old pictures and was reminded of the flight. It was just a cool reminder of the randomness of travel. You really never know who you’ll end up next to. Funny enough, I also ended up talking to the person sitting behind me on that same flight. That conversation turned into contract work later on. So that one flight ended up being a pretty good reminder that travel can create a lot more than just the trip itself. You can book the right seat, strike up one conversation, and walk away with a story, a connection, or even an opportunity you did not see coming. And of course, I booked that flight with points. As you should.
