Mellini Monique shared thisFrom not being able to connect with each other for months about our desire to meanigfully collab on Uptales... - To seeing each other 3 days in a row at TechChicago Week by P33 - Anubhav and I both know it's tiiiiime. - Keep checking Uptales site to find an offering from me that you WILL NOT find anywhere else. 🤑 - Oh and on a personal note, the energy, doting, positivity and passion with which he speaks about his wife (whom I've been privileged to meet) is a masterclass in vulnerability and leadership.Mellini Monique shared thisMy biggest TechChicago Week by P33 to date. #2026 just got better. Boy o boy! In 2024 I was this founder walking around, who knew no one in the land of entrepreneurs. It was la-la land for me. I knew business, I could sell, build products, even get customers. But the ecosystem was non-existent. I’d walk to events meet some people, and then walk out thinking, “DO I BELONG?”. No one was judging me. But the founder world is lonely by design..you want to focus on what matters most even when the entropy is at an all time high. And we are living through the most transformative times imaginable. Technology, politics, society… everything is turned turtle. One can argue these are the toughest times to build a legit, sustainable business. Short-term returns is the mantra right now. So what made this one different for me are two things. ONE where it all began for me: 1871 - met a handful of potential customers, and some mentors. But felt a warmth from that community that strengthens your resolve and belief to keep building. Got to meet Betsy Ziegler at the Techpalooza , and NOW getting ready for briefing her on the progress of Uptales. Her support has been tremendous as a founder. This system keeps supporting founders. For years, without giving up on them. That’s what it takes to build MOMENTUM. TWO, the people. Some extraordinary founders, investors. People who showed up at Startup Grind Chicago hosted by one and only Rajiv 'RajNATION' Nathan. One of my biggest supporters. His energy is contagious. The best pitch competition I’ve attended ever. PERIOD. So much to learn and time to meet those extraordinary people. Mellini Monique, met her thrice in two days, got my signs that I need to collab with her. Jay Joshi, MD®, Andy Swindler, Rocco Molfese, some extraordinary founders building powerful companies of the future. These are the people whose successes I need to emulate. Connor Boundy and Michael Nannini from Atlantis Capital, LLC. Advisors, partners, investors who truly cheer and root for the humans they work with. Reuben Levinsohn from Flying With Founders, you are a gem, building that support mechanism for founders. As an investor now that’s what I call skin in the game. Thank you for the million-dollar flying opp. Some massive expert creators for who I feel I am on the right track building Anthony Louis Di Domenico,Iyobosa Ero, CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CCSK. Place where I didn’t just validate my business philosophy but know people want to bring their IPs, frameworks, to life. Purpose aligned communities makes building business worthwhile. Pixquid®️ built by Rujanee M. and Jared Hoffa is such a place. Excellent partnership for me and creatives like MARIA from ZATORI Films. Our missions aligned to serve the creative communities. Spending time at their event opened up more perspectives. Creative world is changing people. Embrace the change. It’s still a dreamland, but one where I belong. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS IT IS 🚀

A room full of founders, investors, operators, and ecosystem builders who chose conversation over performance and curiosity over pitching. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Soho House & Co for the TechChicago Week by P33 Analog Room: Humans in the Loop hosted by Readiness Intelligence Lab. The quality of the dialogue was a reminder that some of the most valuable ideas don’t come from being the loudest person in the room—they come from asking better questions and truly listening. We’re excited to continue building spaces where meaningful conversations become meaningful action. Thank you to everyone who made the evening such a success. Mellini Monique reposted thisMellini Monique reposted this🚀 Happy #TechChicago Week 2026! ✈️ Years ago, World Business Chicago hosted an international delegation in #Chicagoland as part of their North America tour. I had a brief conversation with one of the visiting startup CEOs about what they were most excited about for their #Chicago visit. The visiting CEO was very direct: "Abin, I'll be honest with you, Chicago is the layover. I'm only here to visit New York, not looking for much here." 💫 After a few days, when the delegation's schedule came to an end in the Windy City, I reconnected with the same entrepreneur with a genuine curiosity about his experience. And the startup CEO could not stop RAVING about his visit. He discovered the brilliance of his peer founders building and scaling in Chicago, both #Midwest modesty and our #proChicago DNA (all grit, no bullsh*t, and making no little plans), our dynamic #startup ecosystem, our top-tier corporate community with expertise across the world's high-growth industries, the beauty of the city, the food, arts + culture + sports, and so much more. Multiple Chicago professionals made overnight introductions for the visiting CEO to pursue new business partnerships and growth opportunities. And after all the raving, the CEO finally ended with: "I'm now realizing Chicago was the best city on the tour. I'm not sure I'm going to get any of this in the other cities." ❤️ It's an important reminder: when they come, they will not just admire, but fall in love with the great people of Chicago. The legendary #AnthonyBourdain said it best: "All too often, particularly in America, I’ll walk to the window and draw back the curtains, looking to remind myself where I might be, and it doesn’t help at all. The featureless, anonymous skyline that greets me is much the same as it was in the previous city - and the city before that. This is not a problem in Chicago. You wake up in Chicago, pull back the curtain, and you KNOW where you are. You are in a big, brash, muscular, broad-shouldered motherf***** city. A metropolis, completely non-neurotic, ever moving. A big-hearted but cold-blooded machine with millions of moving parts." ✅ We have extraordinary assets: one of the world's largest, most diverse, and resilient economies ($900+ billion in regional GDP), top-tier educational institutions, one of the most livable big cities in #NorthAmerica, an incredible legacy of innovation, and so much more that I can't fully write in detail due to the LinkedIn character limit. ⭐ Chicago doesn't need to be the next #SiliconValley. Chicago just needs to be the best Chicago. My north star at World Business Chicago: our startups can transform our city. There is greatness in our backyard, and we need to do everything we can to invest in this greatness. ✅ Excited for #TCW2026 powered by P33 Chicago! Mellini Monique shared thisBeing home in Chicago always reminds me - I’m a winner! - This is a city of winners and winning innovators, technologist, founders, and ecosystem builders. - 🚀 Chicago Startup Events celebrated it first year of helping founders— at any stage— soar. - It has been a masterclass watching Krystal Rogers build this ecosystem of deep support from scratch. - All the attendees and stories shared was a testimony of the grace & grit it has taken to build this community and keep founders winning. - 🎁 And to top it all off, I won the raffle. 🎊 I can’t wait to counsel with Chris Werner at Vidar Law, LLC ⚖️ - To all the beautiful humans that I saw, met, and reconnected with last night… - Thank you for reminding me of what it truly means to win— community! - Chrystal Price , Sarah Porter, Kortni Minter Renee Russo, Diane Moca, Andy Swindler, Caralanay Cameron, MBA, CPC , Five Corners Beverage Co. , Arushi Malhotra, Andy Swindler , Alexandria Alstork , Benno Nelson , Veronica Barnes, MBA, AFC, SHRM-SCP, PMP, Patricia Wicks, MSW , Andy Cwik, Lisandra Martinez, J.D., Ayesha Kazi , Lynette Correa-Velez, M.Ed., Monica P.

Mellini Monique shared thisOh ME OH MY, the theme of self-care in TECH continues at Black Tech Week. - Sydney Davis, after 2 exits, founded Total Care Studio, a product of her own pain point of working in tech, being a new mother, and badly needing balance. - The bottom line is that sometimes the solution that the market is really calling for, really needs, is actually... - LOW TECH! - That point stuck with me because as I've been building Voxvers, The Vocal Intelligence Atelier, across industries in this age of intelligence, I've been tempted to increase the TECH in my business, when actually... - Human Voice is my thing! Human Voice refracted through all other industries in this age of intelligence. - As I stay committed to my passion, my power, and the problem I see in the market at large-- a lack of using our voices as the tremendous tool that it is-- I know we will continue to thrive. - Thank you, Regina Carswell Russo, for asking such great questions and stewarding a highly relatable, informative, and inspiring conversation. - Oh, and the part where Regina asked, "Do entrepreneurs really know how to TALK about what they are doing to their different customers?" That's not TECH, that's human vocal intelligence!

At the Milna launch party hosted by the one and only Sid Khaitan with a special performance by Rajiv 'RajNATION' Nathan. That's how I closed out an incredible TechChicago Week by P33. I felt it the moment I walked in. Greeted by smiling faces who handed me a beautiful card with a silver drink ticket inside. It made me feel special because it was clear that someone had put a lot of thought and care into designing this experience. I even got an exquisite limited edition bandana that I'll enjoy having. I remember meeting Sid last year at my first Startup Grind Chicago event. He was warm and truly interested in what Rachel Zargo and I were building, even while it was just a twinkle in our eye. He shared his vision for Milan Meetups, which would become Milna. Watch how he's building and learn. Start with community, real relationships and generosity. Build thoughtfully and don't rush it. Let it emerge naturally. Rajiv gave a touching opening speech and spoke to something equally important about building community—asking for help. He said Sid's purpose is that everybody deserves to have their people. With 13 volunteers helping to put on the event last night, it's clear that people LOVE to support projects that matter to them. So who are your people and are you asking them for what you need? Sid gave us a live demo of Milna's app for feeling closer to our people. It makes it easier to ask questions to the people we care about that reveal something meaningful about their lives, getting under the small talk. And then preserve it. He's discovered something that we've also seen building CoGo: a third-party in the room, such as a thoughtfully-designed AI, can help us share more authentically about our experiences. This ultimately removes barriers and deepens our relationships. We had amazing food (thanks @mazalpizza), drinks, art (Juan Jones), a silent disco (thanks for your strong encouragement to participate Bianca Apato!) and pockets of meaningful connection tucked throughout TechNexus. Thanks for co-hosting Kevin Shim. It was fun hearing your perspective and ambitions. So good to hang with you again Rami A., Jazmyn Lopez, Brittany Canty, Chrystal Price, Jason W. Taylor, Christine Schwarz, Jay Joshi, MD®. #techchicagoweek

Mellini Monique reacted on thisMellini Monique reacted on thisAll these years in tech taught me that trust is built in milliseconds, and lost in one bad experience. 💡 That's true whether you're talking to a person or an AI. Maybe more true with AI, because the second something sounds off, people notice. It's the question that got me interested in Voices in the first place. Not the technology for its own sake, but because I got curious about a harder question: what happens when AI is the thing people have to trust? I'll be exploring that at Ai4 - Artificial Intelligence Conferences in Las Vegas from August 3-6. It's our first year exhibiting, and I'll be at Booth #429 with my awesome teammates Marisa Hadden, Allison Mitchell, Tyler Carlson, and Malcolm Richardson. If you're thinking about how to make AI sound (and feel) trustworthy at scale, we'd d love to meet you. Drop a comment, send a note, or find me on the floor. See you there! 🎙️ #VoicesYouCanTrust #AI #VoiceData #VoiceSolutions

Mellini Monique reacted on thisMellini Monique reacted on thisEight years ago this week was the launch of VOICE Summit in Newark, NJ. I was lucky enough to be bringing together 2700 strangers around an emerging Voice AI Agents market. But at the same time, I was days removed from the tragic loss of my younger brother Tim- who took his life just days before the start of the event after a long hard battle with depression and alcoholism. I almost stayed home from my own conference launch as I was overwhelmed with shock and grief. But I decided to go and something happened that week that I couldn't have predicted. Perfect strangers came to my aid to comfort me and help make the conference an overwhelming success. I was able to laugh and smile and meet so many wonderful human beings from around the world. It was the right place for me to be that week. While the Voice AI market has changed dramatically and pretty much all the initial conferences in that space have had to evolve just as we have, the impact of making the leap to build the market has paid huge dividends in the friendships and community I enjoy today. Grateful to everyone who's been a part of our many new beginnings over the years. That seems to be something I'm drawn to and the measure of success can be hard to spot at times, but each time we seek to launch a new initiative there are fresh faces, new relationships and a reminder that human connection is what this whole journey is all about. Eight years can go quickly. Grief evolves and we move forward with it. Sometimes our work life and personal life come face-to-face and teach us that at the end of the day, showing up for one another when times are tough can make a lifetime of difference. The anniversary of the launch of VOICE the same week as the loss of my brother is a memory that I'll always be grateful for in the way that so many carried me through that moment.

Mellini Monique liked thisMellini Monique liked thisTechChicago Week by P33 is always one of the summer events I look forward to the most. This year is no exception. Kicked off the week as a volunteer at Kamp's Founder Fest event in my former neck-of-the-woods in Bucktown. Great meeting you in person Jordan Williams, MA, Rose Arendarczyk, and Melissa Z.! Next, headed over to briefly attend 1871's TechPalooza, kicking off TechWeek on a rooftop terrace in Fulton Market, with beautiful views of the city. Shortly afterwards, made my way about a half mile away to mHUB for Founders & Funders' Chicago VC Reverse Pitch event and got to hear various VCs, startup law firms and other business services pitch to a room full of startups and entrepreneurs. I didn't get a chance to attend a ton of events and workshops this year but it is still energizing to be a part of this great Chicago tech community. 🚀 Shoutout to Tamara Cora, Mariah Parsons, Abdoul K. Cissé, Dan Gawronski, and Sammy Martin
