Some people let setbacks become their identity while others let them become their education. The difference is simply your perspective. The people who continue to grow are the ones who stop asking, Why is this happening to me? and start asking, What is this trying to teach me? The challenge you're facing today may become the reason you're stronger, wiser, and better prepared for tomorrow.

Meny Hoffman posted thisA while back, I interviewed two candidates for the same position. One had the perfect resume. More experience, stronger credentials, and all the right answers. The other had a good resume, but what stood out wasn't what was on the paper. It was the questions they asked. They wanted to understand the business. They wanted to know why we did things a certain way, they were curious about the culture, the vision, and where the company was headed. After the interview, someone asked me, Why would you choose the second candidate? My answer was simple. I can teach someone a process, I can teach them a system, I can even teach them a new skill. What I can't teach is genuine curiosity. The people who ask the best questions usually become the people who find the best solutions. Since then, I've interviewed differently. I spend less time listening for the right answers, and more time listening for the right questions.

Seeing that work up close and hearing about the impact it's having was really inspiring. Really nice to see a room full of founders, investors, operators, and professionals getting together for something meaningful. Meny Hoffman shared thisI remember my first conversation with Yidel Falkowitz about the vision for QFS Tower. The goal was clear to create a first class office building in Williamsburg that would give local businesses a space that matched their growth and ambitions. Today, that vision is a reality. The building is complete, tenants are moving in, and what was once an idea on paper is now part of the Williamsburg skyline. A huge congratulations to Yidel Falkowitz, Eli Falkowitz, and the entire QFS team. Projects like this don't happen overnight. They take vision, persistence, and years of hard work to bring to life. I'm also grateful to the team at Ptex Group Group for the opportunity to help shape the brand and tell the story behind this incredible project. Seeing the vision come to life and the building open its doors makes all the effort worthwhile. It's always inspiring to see what's possible when great people commit to a big vision and stay the course BEH! 🚀

Awards are nice, but they only tell a small part of the story. What most people don't see are the years of hard work, the tough decisions, the challenges, the long days, and the responsibility that comes with leading a growing company. The people who earn this kind of recognition are often the same people who consistently show up for their team, their clients, and their industry, and keep pushing forward no matter what comes their way. That's what makes recognition like this so meaningful. It reflects not just what someone has achieved, but the character, leadership, and dedication it took to get there. Lakewood is consistently among the strongest communities investing in Israeli real estate. And it's not because people are afraid to live in New Jersey, Lakewood is one of the safest communities around. It's because many understand that Israel is the Jewish homeland. Whether they plan to move next year, in 10 years, or simply want to secure a foothold for the future, they're investing today. Pine Park will host a Hanachal residence themed community run to sell apartments, followed by a free carnival with food, merchandise, activities for the whole family, and a raffle for a trip to Israel. It's another example of the strong connection many in the community have with Israel. Actions speak louder than labels. Kudos to my good friend Menachem Weinberg for always thinking outside the box when it comes to marketing his projects. Creative ideas like this are what make people stop, pay attention, and remember. 👏

Meny Hoffman liked thisMeny Hoffman liked thisOne thing really struck me today at our third fundraising course. When I invite people to attend, I often hear the same response: "I'm not a fundraiser." So I ask them, "Who's responsible for covering your organisation's £100,000 deficit?" The answer is almost always: "Me." Then I ask, "So why do you say you're not a fundraiser?" That's when I realised something. Most people never chose fundraising as a career. They became involved because they genuinely care. They wanted to help a cause and make a difference. Over time, the responsibility for raising money simply landed on their shoulders. And I completely understand why many people struggle with that. We all have enough responsibility already—our families, our businesses, and our own financial commitments. Taking responsibility for another organisation's budget can feel overwhelming. So it's much easier to keep saying, "I'm not really a fundraiser." But the reality is different. The moment you choose to take responsibility for an organisation—whether you're the founder, a trustee, a committee member or someone leading a project—you also take responsibility for making sure that organisation has the resources to continue its work. You may never have planned to become a fundraiser. But if that responsibility has landed on you, pretending it hasn't won't make it disappear. The turning point comes when you stop saying, "I didn't choose this." And start saying, "This is my responsibility, and I'm going to become the best at it that I can." At the end of the day, you're going to do it anyway. So why not do it with passion, invest in yourself, learn the skills, and become better at it? Sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn't learning another fundraising technique. It's simply accepting ownership.
