Most Talent Acquisition strategies sound good internally, but how does it hold water pitching it to the board. Hiring is no longer just an HR function. It directly affects revenue timing, margin performance and operational risk. Which means boards are starting to ask harder questions about hiring strategy. Questions like: ❓ Are we hiring in direct alignment with revenue delivery? ❓ Do we actually understand the real cost of growth? ❓ Where are we structurally exposed from a talent perspective? ❓ Is our TA model built to scale predictably? ❓ Could we accelerate hiring without blowing up cost or quality? If a TA leader cannot answer these with clarity and evidence, hiring starts to look like an uncontrolled cost rather than a growth lever. We’ve written a short article breaking down the five board questions every TA strategy should be able to answer, why they matter, and what to do if the answers are unclear.
