About

I close deals that most people can't navigate.

For nearly four decades, I have operated at the intersection of Eastern and Western game markets, licensing IP, building partnerships, and generating revenue in places where language barriers, regulatory complexity, and cultural distance stop most executives cold.

At iDreamSky (NASDAQ: DSKY / HK: 1119), I built a $100M+ revenue engine licensing more than 50 Western titles into China: Monument Valley, Toy Blast, Gardenscapes, Homescapes, and others. I contributed to the company's dual U.S. and Hong Kong listings.

I have founded two companies with successful exits. Zona was acquired by Shanda pre-IPO in 2003. Radiance Digital Entertainment merged with iDreamSky in 2014. At Shanda, I managed 460 developers across six concurrent MMORPGs and supported the company's 2004 NASDAQ IPO.

Earlier in my career, I shipped titles at EA, Capcom, and Atari, with credits on John Madden Football, Street Fighter, and the Test Drive franchise.

Today, through Radiance Strategic Solutions, I advise game companies on cross-border licensing, IP negotiations, and Asia market entry. Recent work includes negotiating EverMerge (BigFish/Aristocrat) for a Chinese publisher, generating 20M+ downloads in Greater China, and closing a Bruce Lee IP licensing deal for a Chinese mobile publisher.

What I bring: Cross-border IP licensing. International BD at scale. China market navigation. M&A advisory. East-West deal architecture from the first conversation to the signed contract.

Beyond the deals: Guest Professor at Shanghai Theatre Academy and Jilin University of Arts, with three published Chinese-language textbooks on game development. Director of the Virtual USA Pavilion at World Expo 2010 Shanghai. Founder of IGDA Shanghai. LinkedIn Top Voice with 27,000+ followers.

Native fluency in English and Mandarin. Split base between China and California.
