SaaS Sales & Marketing Leader | Scaling VC-Backed Companies | Expertise in IT Services, Cybersecurity & Cloud Solutions

My expertise centers on three areas:
1) Go-to-market strategy for emerging technology categories
2) Channel development within the IT services ecosystem
3) Revenue scaling through the $10M → $100M growth phase

Currently, I’m focused on establishing Data Management & Security as its own category for unstructured data protection, working with MSP/MSSP partners to expand their offerings, and advising on strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities. The common thread across my work is simple: spotting market gaps before they become obvious.

My early career included time at IBM, but the real education came at Kaseya where I was part of the early team that grew the company from zero to $100M and helped create an entirely new market category. That experience showed me that successful go-to-market is about timing, education, and relationships—not just the product.

Since then, I’ve scaled multiple companies through growth and exits, including taking Datto from $48M to $82M before its acquisition by Vista Equity Partners. Each stage reinforced the lesson that category creation takes patience, persistence, and the ability to see around corners before your competition.

My philosophy: process over perfection and long-term relationship building. The best outcomes come from solving the real problem, not pitching tech. Authentic partnerships always outperform transactions.

Outside of work, I’m an amateur winemaker - both business and winemaking demand patience, process, and faith in the fundamentals.

Why I’m here: to share insights on market dynamics, scaling strategies, and lessons from 20+ years in this business—and to connect with others navigating similar challenges. The best business relationships start with genuine conversations.

Let’s connect.
