About
"Am I missing something?"
It's not a question that comes up when everything falls apart. It comes up when everything seems fine.
You’ve built a career, saved consistently, and made sound decisions along the way. Somewhere in there, your financial life got more complicated, and no one ever stopped to look at how it all fit together.
You have accounts, maybe an advisor, maybe a spreadsheet you keep meaning to update. The pieces were added over the years, one at a time. After a while, it’s hard to tell whether they’re all working together or simply existing side by side.
You could spend hours researching it yourself, and a lot of women do. But knowing a lot about money and knowing what to do with your money are two very different things.
I’m Renee Cohen, CFP® and founder of Nexa Wealth Planning. I’m based in Los Angeles and work with clients nationwide.
The women I work with aren’t looking for someone to take over. They’ve built successful careers, accumulated investments, and reached a point where there are simply too many financial decisions to keep carrying around in their head. They want someone who can look at the whole picture, ask the questions they haven’t thought to ask, and help them understand what to do next.
That’s why I built Nexa as a flat-fee practice. I wanted you to know that my recommendations aren’t influenced by commissions or product sales. Our conversations stay focused on your life, your priorities, and the decisions in front of you.
I don’t believe a financial plan should sit in a drawer. Life doesn’t stay the same.
We continue working together as life changes, priorities shift, and new questions come up. The value isn’t the document. It’s having someone in your corner who can help you think through the decisions ahead.
You don’t have to become an expert, but you should understand every recommendation we make together and why it matters.
My clients’ lives don’t necessarily become less complicated. What changes is that they know where they stand, what deserves their attention now, and what can wait.
If this sounds familiar, I’d love to connect. You can reach me here.

Have the Wedding of your Dreams Without Breaking the Bank
Popsugar
See publicationWedding planning can be an exciting — yet overwhelming — time, especially when it comes to your wedding budget. It's no surprise that wedding costs add up quickly. Due to unrealistic portrayals of weddings everywhere you look, there can be a ton of pressure to have the "perfect" wedding. A wedding doesn't have to be lavish to create the everlasting memories and laughter that are ultimately the most important thing for your special day.
