We exist in service of our educator partners with more than a third of Curriculum Associates employees working on our service team directly alongside educators to make sure they are supported in their daily practice and implementation of our programs. #iReady has been studied at scale across states, districts, and students from diverse populations—including students with disabilities and English language learners. The results are consistent: when used as intended, students who use i-Ready demonstrate stronger outcomes in reading and mathematics than their peers who do not. Life has a funny way of working out, and I'm incredibly grateful to have landed exactly where I was supposed to be. Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way. I can't wait to partner with districts and organizations across the Central Valley and Central Coast to bring Teaching Strategies' comprehensive early learning ecosystem to the educators, children, and families they serve. I spent the last few years writing, designing, collaborating, and POW; here it is! Snap Happy is a photography book for kids who dabble in mindfulness and reflection with inner and outer exploration, and a scrapbook to boot! As a photography major and an educator, I saw the disconnect between kids and cameras. They use them but don't use them in a way that makes them pause and study. I've worked with mindfulness professionals and other educators to create a book that captures just that. It's perfect for kids between the ages of 6-12 and has already been approved by former students and some kids willing to be my guinea pigs along the way through the creative process. It will be available on most bookseller sites -- Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and and at small bookstores around the country -- but it's currently available directly as a pre-order with the link below! Events like this help ensure that this special organization continues to inspire girls for generations to come. As a former Girl Scout and now a volunteer for my daughter’s troop, I’ve experienced firsthand the lasting impact Girl Scouts has in shaping courageous and confident women. That experience has inspired me to become even more involved—not only in supporting my daughter’s journey, but in helping all girls build the skills, leadership, and confidence they need to grow and succeed. I’ve had the chance to build, fix, rethink, and help shape how this organization operates behind the scenes. I’m proud of the work, the impact, and most of all, the people. There’s something really special about being part of a mission that actually matters. MIND is full of smart, thoughtful humans who care deeply about students, and that’s not something I take lightly. And now… it’s time for what’s next. I’m stepping into a new adventure that I’m genuinely excited about.
