In lung transplantation, every decision carries enormous weight. That’s why leadership development isn’t an optional add‑on to our curriculum; it’s embedded into every clinical rotation, multidisciplinary meeting, and patient-centered discussion. Here’s what leadership looks like in our fellowship: 🔹 Owning clinical decisions with clarity and accountability 🔹 Leading multidisciplinary teams through complex and high‑stakes scenarios 🔹 Advocating for patients and innovation in an ever‑changing healthcare landscape 🔹 Communicating with empathy during the most vulnerable moments in a patient’s journey 🔹 Mentoring future trainees and elevating the field beyond themselves 🔹 Learning what things a leader cannot delegate.
