Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join a growing finance organization supporting multiple business units. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning critical accounting processes, partnering with leadership, and driving operational improvements.

While this is an individual contributor position without direct people management, it offers significant ownership, high visibility across the organization, and a defined path for continued career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process across multiple entities.
• Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide meaningful insights to leadership.
• Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, FP&A, tax, and other cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Work with complex financial data to improve reporting, streamline workflows, and enhance decision-making.
• Participate in system enhancements and other strategic accounting initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA-track is a plus.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience in a multi-entity, manufacturing, or similarly complex operating environment is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets; experience with ERP systems is required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes.
