Position Overview
Catalyst Security Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Security Sales Representative to join our growing Denver team.
This is a hybrid role that combines remote work, in-person client meetings, networking, and business development activities throughout the Denver metropolitan area. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and developing customized technology solutions that create value for clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our commercial security and low-voltage service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Prospecting
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Develop relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, general contractors, facility managers, business owners, and decision-makers.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently generate qualified opportunities.
  • Attend industry networking events, trade associations, and community business functions.
Client Relationship Management
  • Conduct customer meetings to understand operational and security challenges.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor.
  • Follow up consistently throughout the sales cycle and after project completion.
Solution Development
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop tailored security and low-voltage solutions.
  • Conduct site walks and gather project requirements.
  • Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Present recommendations and articulate the value of Catalyst’s services.
Sales Execution
  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through contract execution.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms while maintaining profitability objectives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
Market Growth
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and industry trends.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and customer feedback.
  • Support marketing initiatives and lead-generation campaigns.
Qualifications
Required
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven track record of prospecting, lead generation, and closing new business.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Denver metropolitan area for customer meetings.
Preferred
  • Experience selling commercial security, CCTV, access control, alarm systems, structured cabling, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, or related technology solutions.
  • Experience working with commercial construction, property management, healthcare, education, industrial, or corporate clients.
  • Familiarity with proposal development, project estimating, and contract negotiation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Generate $750,000–$1,000,000 in annual sales revenue.
  • Schedule 10–15 new prospect meetings per month.
  • Maintain a pipeline of at least 3x annual quota.
  • Achieve quarterly gross margin targets.
