Responsibilities – Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist
Uphold and implement all state regulations according to DHW Contracted Payer
Attend all staff trainings and meetings as required or requested
Meet one on one with clients on a regular basis
Participate in client assessments/reassessments
Assist client in development of goals, objectives, and reviews as appropriate
Have any necessary material for program objectives available throughout therapy sessions
Maintain the safety, health, and wellbeing of clients at all times
Be in continuous, respectful, and appropriate contact with clients’ guardians, siblings, teachers, etc. as applicable
Report concerns, incidents, accidents, findings, etc. to the CBRS Manager, Administrator, and/or Child Protective Services as needed
Keep client files current and organized
Complete all clinical documentation in the EMR in a timely and accurate manner
Be on time to pick up and drop off clients, fully using time responsibly and
Follow a carefully developed treatment plan to help clients build functional behaviors and coping skills for interaction with their surroundings

Ability to be flexible with scheduling and to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks

Comfortability navigating electronic documents and electronic systems required to perform job duties
Maintain strong boundaries and understand cultural diversity
Have a strong overview of mental illnesses and their effects on the brain.
Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies
Adhere to the PRA Ethics and Professional Conduct
Value working with underserved and marginalized populations and appreciates diversity
Adherence to mandatory abuse reporting laws
A mature attitude and sensitivity to populations dealing with mental health challenges
Submit records of weekly interventions and quarterly reviews in a timely manner Attend monthly individual and group supervision with clinician
Attend periodic team, department, and agency wide staff meetings
Strong communication skills, basic keyboarding skills
Bachelor’s Degree, in Social Work, Psychology or closely related to human services is preferred.
Be able to successfully complete drug screening, background check, and I-9
Have a current Idaho driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements for personal vehicle
Experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with many clients
