Database Administrator (SQL Server/PostgreSQL)

Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite (required)

We are looking for a hands-on Database Administrator to support and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. This role will focus on database performance, automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support while partnering with development teams to improve database design and application performance. Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop and support solutions using T-SQL, PowerShell, and SSIS.
• Optimize queries, indexes, and database performance.
• Implement high availability, replication, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Manage incidents, changes, and operational support activities.
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL administration experience.
• Strong T-SQL skills and database performance tuning experience.
• Experience with replication, clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with database migrations and production support.
• Snowflake, Aurora, AWS RDS, or Azure SQL experience.
• PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Financial services industry experience.
