EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by our client, an established independent record label based in Los Angeles, who is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and tenacious Day-to-Day Manager to support a growing pop artist and their team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role — not a traditional executive assistant position — blending artist and day-to-day management, release and project management, hands-on content creation (filming and editing short-form video), and digital marketing/paid media support. The Day-to-Day Manager will serve as the central point of coordination between the artist, label, creative partners, and DSPs, keeping projects moving while helping execute the artist's creative vision. This position is fully on-site across West LA and Sherman Oaks, with flexible hours that include occasional evenings and weekends as the artist's schedule requires.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison between the artist, label, management team, and external partners, keeping communication aligned and projects moving forward
- Manage the artist's calendar, scheduling, travel logistics, and daily priorities — anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise
- Follow up persistently on approvals, deliverables, and responses across multiple parties to keep every deadline on track
- Support the end-to-end execution of music releases, from planning through launch, in coordination with distributors, DSPs, publicists, and creative teams
- Track release timelines, deliverables, and campaign milestones, and help manage delivery of artwork, music assets, metadata, videos, and promotional materials
- Brainstorm, capture, film, and edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms alongside the artist
- Collaborate closely with the Fan Engagement Manager to execute content and community strategies
- Support paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and DSPs, and use performance data to optimize and elevate results
- Keep assets, contracts, approvals, and invoices organized and audit-ready
Qualifications
- 3+ years in artist management, record labels, music marketing, or project/product management, with proven experience taking releases and campaigns from start to finish
- Strong working knowledge of the modern music business — DSPs, digital distribution, streaming, social media, and music marketing; existing industry relationships a plus
- Strong photography and videography skills, with advanced proficiency editing short-form video
- Hands-on experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar, plus fluency in platform-native editing tools for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
- Experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns and comfort interpreting analytics to make strategic recommendations
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple shifting priorities under deadline
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- A self-starter who takes ownership without waiting for direction, stays calm under pressure, and brings tenacity, grit, and a willingness to be unconventional
- Genuine passion for music and artist development
- Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as the artist's schedule requires
