We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Team Lead to oversee daily desktop support operations while mentoring and developing a small technical support team. This hands-on role combines leadership responsibilities with advanced troubleshooting and end-user support across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support desktop technicians, providing guidance and technical mentorship
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and endpoint management issues
- Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID, VPN connectivity, and Azure environments
- Manage desktop-related projects and technology deployments
- Provide AV and conference room support, including Microsoft Teams meetings and presentation technology
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventory, and ticket records
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+ certification required
- 5+ years of Help Desk/Desktop Support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure
- Experience supporting audiovisual and collaboration technologies
- Proven ability to mentor team members and handle escalated technical issues
