Director, Commerce Operations | Retail Media

New York, NY | Hybrid (3 days in office)

We're hiring a Director of Commerce Operations to lead operational strategy and execution within a high-growth retail media practice at a global media organization.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of commerce media and operational excellence — building the processes, workflows, and infrastructure that enable teams to activate at scale.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end commerce operations across retail media activation, driving consistency and scalability across accounts and teams
• Lead rollout of new commerce capabilities and manage change across a matrixed organization
• Build SOPs, playbooks, and workflow systems that support efficient execution and team growth
• Partner cross-functionally with investment, strategy, and client leads to close operational gaps
• Track operational KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 7–10+ years in digital media, retail media, or commerce operations
• Deep Amazon Ads experience required (Sponsored Products, DSP, AMC a plus)
• Exposure to additional retail media platforms strongly preferred (Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Instacart, Criteo, etc.)
• Proven ability to build processes and manage complex workflows in a fast-paced agency environment
• Strong project management and change management skills
• Experience in a holding company or large matrixed organization a plus
