Goldenrod Companies is seeking a Director of Procurement & Design to lead procurement strategy, vendor partnerships, purchasing operations, and interior design coordination across our growing national real estate and construction platform.

Our platform includes development, construction, property management, and self-perform construction companies, giving this role visibility and influence across multiple business lines.

What You’ll Do

Procurement Leadership

• Lead procurement operations across multiple companies and project types
• Develop and implement company-wide purchasing standards, systems, and processes
• Build and manage strategic relationships with national vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers
• Negotiate pricing agreements, contracts, and purchasing programs to drive cost savings and operational efficiency
• Oversee FF&E procurement, material sourcing, logistics, and vendor performance
• Collaborate closely with Development, Construction, Property Management, and Accounting teams to align purchasing strategies with project goals and timelines

Design & Interior Coordination

• Oversee interior design coordination for multifamily, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments
• Manage and/or mentor interior design and procurement team members
• Assist with finish selections, furniture packages, specifications, and design standards
• Ensure design intent aligns with budget, schedule, and operational goals
• Help standardize finishes, procurement workflows, and vendor relationships across the portfolio

Team & Operational Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead a growing procurement and design team
• Create scalable processes and reporting systems as the company continues to expand nationally
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic initiatives
• Drive accountability, organization, and execution across multiple simultaneous projects

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, FF&E, construction, or interior design
• Leadership experience managing teams and multi-project operations
• Experience in commercial real estate, multifamily, hospitality, construction, development, or design environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of vendor negotiations, purchasing systems, budgets, and operational workflows
• Ability to balance creativity, operational execution, and strategic thinking
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build structure in a fast-growing organization
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
