About the Role

ICR Capital, one of the most highly regarded Capital Markets Advisory firms, is seeking a highly motivated professional to fill an Equity Capital Markets Senior Vice President or Director position. This client-facing role will be part of the existing senior leadership team and be given all the support needed to pursue advisory business.

Responsibilities

Origination & Business Development

• Deal Generation: Lead origination efforts, proactively sourcing and securing mandates across equity transactions
• Sponsor / Client Coverage: Build, deepen, and maintain senior-level relationships with Private Equity sponsors, Venture Capital firms, portfolio company executives, and corporate clients
• Institutional Network: Leverage and expand deep personal relationships with senior decision-makers at Tier-1 institutional investors, including Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Family Offices and Sovereign Wealth Funds
• Partner Network: Help to grow our relationships with investment banks, law firms, accounting firms, etc.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal ICR IR and PR teams as well as PE Sponsor Coverage and Special Situations teams to identify, pitch, and capture warm capital-raise and secondary advisory opportunities.
• Oversee creation of pitch materials and market analysis
• Frequent but targeted travel is required to lead client pitches, originate new business, and manage key relationships.

Transaction Execution

• Deal Leadership: Serve as the senior lead overseeing the deal from Syndicate Selection all the way to Closing; Point of Contact for all parties to a transaction
• Transaction Oversight: Provide strategic direction and senior oversight to deal teams throughout the deal

Team Leadership & Platform Growth

• Talent Development: Mentor, manage, and develop junior team members (Analysts, Associates, VPs), fostering a culture of excellence, high performance, and strict regulatory compliance.
• Platform Scaling: Contribute strategically to the growth, product scope, and market positioning of the team

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in a senior Capital Markets role
• Consistent track record of sourcing and closing significant fee revenue
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• MBA or other Advanced Degree preferred
• FINRA licenses 7, 79
