What You’ll Do:

As a Storm Claims Representative, you will manage complex property and auto claims. You will be the front-line response in assessing damage, determining coverage, and ensuring timely and fair resolutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting field investigations and estimating storm damage to homes and vehicles.
• Evaluating coverage and liability, setting reserves, and making settlement decisions.
• Assisting with surge workloads, catastrophe response, and being available during evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.
• Negotiating settlements and coordinating with vendors, engineers, and legal experts.
• Documenting claim files and preparing detailed reports and correspondence.
• Supporting subrogation and salvage efforts.
• Participating in training and mentoring when appropriate.

Requirements to Succeed:

Storm Claims Representative:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).

Intermediate Level:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of complex claims handling experience.
• Completion of AIC Core Courses or 4+ years of relevant experience.

Senior Level:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of complex claims handling experience.
• Completion of AIC designation or 8+ years of experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Missouri Driver's License.
