LOCATION: Island H2O Water Park

SCHEDULE: Must have full flexible availability (Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays)

POSITION: Seasonal   

JOB SUMMARY: The Cashier provides exceptional guest service while accurately processing food, beverage, retail and attraction transactions. Responsible for operating the POS system, handling cashless transactions, maintaining clean workstations, assisting guests and supporting safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor environment.

Essential Responsibilities

•   Provide friendly, professional guest service and create welcoming experience.
•   Accurately process credit card, mobile payment, wristband and promotional vouchers.
•   Operate the POS system efficiently
•   Answer guest questions regarding menus, pricing, amenities and promotions.
•   Upsell featured menu items, combo meals, beverages and retail merchandise.
•   Follow loss prevention and company policies
•   Maintain sanitation standards and comply with food safety requirements.
•   Follow responsible Alcohol Service policies.
•   Report guest concerns, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately.
•   This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Must be able to work in outdoor environments with extreme temperatures for extended periods of time.
  
  

Requirements

Competencies, skills, attributes, experience, licenses, certifications, required)

•   Must be at least 16 years old.
•   High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school preferred.
•   Effectively interact with guests and all levels of management and associates, both inside and outside the organization.
•   Self-motivated to accomplish goals with a strong sense of responsibility.
•   Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
•   Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays 365 days a year.
  
  

Preferred Competencies & Qualifications

• Food service experience with general knowledge of operations and high-volume resort operations.
• Previous experience as a cashier of food & beverage establishment.
