For our client, we are seeking a Head Of Strategic Communications To The Chairman to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Washington, DC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $266,700 – $380,300 annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a communication strategy that conveys PCAOB's goals to key audiences
  • Advise the Chairman and senior leadership on messaging for various platforms and situations
  • Act as spokesperson, managing media relations and the company affairs efforts
  • Collaborate with Director of Communications to implement a branding strategy for PCAOB
  • Oversee speechwriting and media interview preparations for PCAOB leadership
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts
  • Manage special projects and additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in the company Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 12+ years of the company relations or journalism experience with a focus on strategic communications
  • Strong media relationship development skills for corporate or governmental goals
  • Proficient in persuasive, accessible writing and editing
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement comprehensive communications strategies
  • Experience leading internal teams and coordinating with external consultants
  • Familiarity with traditional and digital media landscape
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and congressional oversight of auditors
