Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Research Consultant or Search Consultant (Physician Recruiter) to join our Chesterfield team. This role offers hands-on experience in sourcing, outreach, and relationship building, along with structured training, coaching, and mentorship. It’s a dynamic, client-facing recruiting and sales opportunity, ideal for a driven, competitive individual looking to grow into a successful career in physician recruitment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Call providers to proactively source viable physician and advanced practice provider candidates
  • Conduct thorough phone screens with attention to detail and prompt follow up
  • Update the internal client and provider database with recruitment-related activity
  • Create effective job advertisements for open opportunities
  • Oversee and manage the credentials and availability of provider candidates
  • Partner consultatively with clients to conduct searches and fill physician staffing needs
  • Achieve productivity goals and metrics
  • Travel overnight to conduct onsite client profiles, 10-15% a year


What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in sales or recruitment preferred; more experience candidates welcome to apply
  • Excellent sourcing, cold calling, presentations, and negotiation skills a must
  • Confident, energetic, and professional presence a must: ability to effectively build relationships with C-suite executives and physician candidates
  • Interpersonal, strategic communication, and relationship-building skills a must
  • Strong organizational and computer skills required, CRM proficiency a plus
  • Stable employment history with verifiable references a must
