Role Description This full-time, on-site Insurance Broker role is based in Temple, TX. The Insurance Broker will meet with clients to assess their insurance and retirement planning needs, recommend suitable products, and prepare quotes and proposals. Daily responsibilities include managing client accounts, processing applications, following up on renewals, and responding to questions about coverage, claims, and policy changes. The role involves working with insurance carriers to obtain competitive terms, staying current on industry trends and regulations, and maintaining accurate records in firm systems. The Insurance Broker will collaborate with colleagues to support client service initiatives, participate in local outreach or networking, and contribute to a professional, compliant, and client-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Insurance Brokerage and Insurance knowledge, including understanding of policies, coverage options, and carrier processes.
  • Finance and Retirement Planning skills to help clients align insurance solutions with long-term financial goals.
  • Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and responsiveness to client needs and concerns.
  • Ability to build trust, explain complex information in simple terms, and recommend solutions based on client risk profiles.
  • Relevant state insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain), with a clean compliance record.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with office and CRM software.
  • Comfort working on-site in Temple, TX and collaborating with a small professional team.
  • Prior experience in insurance, brokerage, or financial services is preferred; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
