Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available for San Jac Online. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective courses. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using online delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. All San Jac Online faculty should reside in the state of Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Sociology.
- Prior experience in teaching in higher education in an online format.
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
