This role ensures timely availability of quality parts at competitive costs while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the supply c

• stems.Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bidding to achieve best-cost sou
• rcing.Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and long-term agreements while ensuring compliance with company pol
• icies.Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as delivery adherence, quality, cost, and responsiv
• eness.Manage purchase requisitions (PR) and convert them into purchase orders (PO) in the ERP system (SAP, Oracle,
• etc.).Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules and new product develo
• pment.Coordinate with logistics for inbound deliveries and customs clearance (if applic
• able).Resolve issues related to delivery delays, part shortages, and discrepa
• ncies.Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and localization initia
• tives.Work closely with engineering for alternative material or supplier develo
• pment.Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to understand material require
• ments.Address quality issues and support root cause analysis with supp
