Role Description
This is a full-time position open to candidates based in Arizona, the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Colorado, and surrounding markets.
The Regional Business Manager (RBM) plays a critical role in leading, coaching, and developing the Market Sales Specialists across Dallas, TX, Arizona, and Colorado. This position is responsible for driving execution, strengthening supplier and wholesale partner relationships, and fostering a high-performance team culture. The RBM oversees the onboarding, development, and ongoing performance management of Market Sales Specialists, ensuring they are equipped to achieve established goals. Through effective leadership and strategic partnership, the RBM's primary objective is to maximize supplier satisfaction, retain top talent, and drive overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Market Sales Specialists through onboarding, performance management, and regular one-on-one coaching.
- Drive sales execution by setting priorities, monitoring KPIs, conducting market visits, and ensuring accountability for results.
- Partner with Regional Directors to execute sales strategies, target account initiatives, and market plans.
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships, lead Monthly Business Reviews, and execute supplier-specific objectives.
- Analyze sales performance using Orbit and other CRM tools to identify opportunities and improve execution.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding in partnership with Human Resources and regional leadership.
- Ensure operational excellence through accurate reporting, process compliance, and effective communication across teams.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of proven success in the beverage alcohol industry with experience partnering with suppliers and distributors to drive sales execution and market growth.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams and personalities.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent.
- Strong coaching, performance management, and employee development skills.
- Demonstrate ability to think critically
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to support strategic decision-making.
- High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and composure under pressure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills with experience leading sales meetings, trainings, and interviews.
- Proficiency with Orbit, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of the Ramp platform and CMC expense reporting processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
