About the Company

Digna Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a nationally recognised business purpose lender to hire a Director of Sales. The company is headquartered in the US, backed by a strong parent company with deep capital markets infrastructure and a strong, growing balance sheet. The platform originates across fix-and-flip, new construction, bridge, and DSCR rental products, serving real estate investors in nearly all 50 states.


With a billion $ target of annual originations, the company is in active growth mode - investing heavily in its sales organisation and building out new origination channels.


About the Role

The company is hiring a Regional Director of Sales to lead a regional segment of its outside sales team. This is a leadership-first role - you will be responsible for managing, coaching, developing, and scaling a team of Loan Officers across your territory, driving origination volume through borrower and broker relationships, and building a high-performance sales culture.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Regional Loan Officers - setting targets, managing performance, and driving accountability across your territory
  • Recruiting and onboarding high-calibre originators to expand your team's footprint in key markets
  • Driving origination volume across fix-and-flip, bridge, DSCR, and new construction products through borrower-direct and broker channel relationships
  • Implementing and maintaining sales processes, CRM discipline, and pipeline management standards
  • Providing market intelligence and competitive feedback to senior leadership to inform product, pricing, and strategy
  • Partnering with the CRO on broader sales strategy, team structure, and culture-building initiatives
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with inside sales, operations, credit, and marketing
  • Travelling regularly across your territory and to HQ to stay close to the market and your team


What We're Looking For

  • A proven non-producing or player-coach sales leader with experience in business purpose lending, non-QM, or adjacent real estate finance (bridge, DSCR, fix-and-flip, SFR, hard money, construction)
  • Experience managing and scaling a geographically distributed team of loan officers or account executives - ideally 5+ people
  • Deep understanding of real estate investor borrowers - how they think, what they need, and how to build relationships that drive repeat business at scale
  • Strong recruiting instincts - you know how to find, attract, and retain top origination talent
  • A coaching and development mindset - you elevate your team through structured training, shadowing, accountability, and leading by example
