Software Development Manager

Base salary: $100K–$150k
Discretionary bonus: 5%–10% based on company performance

Job Overview
Lead a team of software developers through the entire development lifecycle, acting as the bridge between technical talent and business leadership. Ensure project delivery and alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3 developers.
- Oversee all phases of software projects: planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Plan projects, monitor progress, manage timelines.
- Provide technical guidance: review architecture and quality standards.
- Communicate with stakeholders and leadership, reporting project status and needs.
- 1–3 years in management
- 5–7 years in software development
- React
- Node.js
- PHP
- RPG
- Familiarity with Infor LX or other ERP software
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-heavy environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IBMi systems is a plus
- Collaborative, adaptable, and open to broad technology stacks
