Location: Madison, WI (100% on-site required for laboratory and tissue testing).
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible, ideally by late July, to be trained before the heavy testing cycle begins in August.
Job Description:
The role involves executing end-to-end verification and validation (V&V) testing during a critical design phase for the Client's microwave ablation system and its associated accessories, such as new probes. The primary focus is alleviating testing bottlenecks for a cycle running from August through November or December.

Skill Set Requirements:
- Technical Writing: Strong skills in writing and updating technical text and protocols.
- Protocol Execution: Ability to follow straightforward software and hardware testing steps (e.g., "press these buttons and verify this happens").
- Attention to Detail: Critical for recording accurate results and identifying abnormalities.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are required for an individual contributor role within the R&D team.
Nice to Haves:
- Traceability Experience: Experience looking at requirements and writing protocols based on them.
- PLM/QMS Tools: Previous experience with PLM or Quality Management systems is helpful, though the team will provide training on their new specific tool.
- Industry Background: Experience in other Madison-based medical device or life science companies
Education/Certification(s)/License(s):
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field is required.
- Entry-level candidates ("the best of the best" in terms of potential and communication) are highly encouraged to apply, as we view these as entry-level individual contributor roles.
