Trade Support Engineer - Proprietary Trading - up to $170k total compensation

This isn't your typical middle office role where you're reconciling trades and waiting for the next exception to land in your inbox.

You'll sit alongside a high-performing trading desk, working directly with traders, researchers and engineers to keep the operation running seamlessly while constantly looking for ways to make it better. If something is manual, you'll automate it. If a process is slow, you'll improve it. If a tool isn't good enough, you'll help build a better one.

You'll support a broad range of listed and OTC products across equities and derivatives, owning everything from trade capture and reconciliations through to P&L validation and operational risk. More importantly, you'll become the go-to person who understands how the desk works and helps it scale.

Python will be a genuine part of your day-to-day, whether that's automating workflows, improving reporting or building tools that remove friction for the trading team. You'll also work with Linux, Git and proprietary trading systems, giving you plenty of exposure to both technology and the markets.

This role would suit someone with a few years' experience supporting a trading business who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and partnering with front office teams rather than simply processing tickets. Experience across equities, listed derivatives or OTC products is ideal, along with a genuine interest in technology and process improvement.
