Vice President – Acquisitions (US Real Estate)

Our client is large well-known extremely active Private Equity/Real Estate Investment Fund with a highly decorated track record of PERE investing. Currently seeking to add a VP of Investments, responsible for sourcing and closing big ticket commercial real estate transactions in the Southeast, select individual will be responsible for owning and building a large southeast territory for a very active well known commercial real estate investment fund.

Primary Strategies include: office, industrial, logistics, data centers and mixed-use assets

• The role will led office/industrial underwriting /M&A activities across southeast US region
• Identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategies
• Utilize network of industry relationships with Brokerage community and Property Managers to procure desired assets in target regions
• Develop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions
• Work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firms' brand and manage the full life-cycle deal execution process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilities
• Prepare Investment/Offering Memorandums for Investment Committee and Partners
• Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success
• Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience within commercial Real Estate Acquisitions
• Top Academic pedigree required
• CFA/MBA strongly preferred
• Proven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young Analysts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills
• High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends
• Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
