Vice President of Manufacturing

We are conducting a search for a Vice President of Manufacturing on behalf of a PE-backed specialty manufacturing company scaling production to meet expanding customer demand across multiple end markets. This role owns the full manufacturing function across plants and reports directly to the COO. The VP of Manufacturing will be accountable for production, quality, safety, and the operating performance of the manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities Own manufacturing operations across all plants, with full accountability for production output, quality, safety, and cost performance Lead the operational scaling required to support sustained demand growth, including capacity expansion, capital projects, and workforce planning Drive manufacturing excellence through lean, Six Sigma, and operational improvement programs across all sites Build and develop the plant leadership bench including plant managers, operations directors, and key functional leads Partner with supply chain, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure manufacturing capabilities align with customer commitments and product roadmap Serve as the senior manufacturing voice in capital planning, M&A diligence, and the operational integration of acquired manufacturing facilities

What You Bring 15+ years of manufacturing leadership including prior VP of Manufacturing or multi-plant operations role Demonstrated track record scaling manufacturing operations through demand growth or capacity expansion PE-backed manufacturing experience strongly preferred Strong lean, Six Sigma, or manufacturing excellence credentials Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field required; MBA preferred U.S.-based with willingness to travel across plant footprint
