Course overview and prerequisites
If you work with data, it's not enough to calculate the numbers. You also need to understand what they're telling you. That's where statistics comes in. But statistics can feel intimidating, especially if it's full of theory, formulas, and terminology that don't seem connected to real work. This course is designed to change that. We'll cover the practical statistical concepts every data analyst should know. More importantly, you'll learn what the results mean, when to trust them, and how to avoid common mistakes when drawing conclusions. You don't need to be a statistician to take this course but you should be comfortable with basic Excel formulas, tables and charts. By the end you'll be better equipped to turn raw data into useful insights and make more informed decisions. Hi, I'm Mynda Treacy from My Online Training Hub. I've been a Microsoft MVP since 2014 and I've helped thousands of people streamline their work in Excel. Let's get started.
