Payment data is a critical signal for how travel brands understand loyalty. In his latest PhocusWire article, Galileo’s VP of Product Management, Prashant Shah, explains why brands that rely too heavily on premium credit card activity may miss valuable customers who use debit, digital wallets and BNPL. Better-connected payments data can help travel brands recognize behavior, personalize engagement and retain customers more effectively. There’s been a noticeable shift in how starter-interrupt is perceived. It’s a structure that reinforces prioritization. When consumers make payments consistently and on time, they build stronger payment history and many see measurable financial progress as a result. Starter-interrupt has proven to influence positive behavior patterns. It helps protect the asset while giving consumers the opportunity to reset, refocus, and move forward. Follow PassTime for more insights on technology that supports both performance and growth. #PaymentSolutions

We survived ARE 😄 And yes… we made payments conversations actually exciting. A great few days at the ARE trade show this week, strong energy for a small show, genuinely plenty of conversations around smarter, quicker, more connected ways to move money, while making smarter decisions to harmonise income streams. It was refreshing to see operators and partners talking less about if payments need to evolve, and more about how fast they can. Open intergrations, seamless player journeys, data‑driven decisions with just enough fintech buzzwords to feel current, not cringey. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a demo, or a deep dive into how payments tech is shaping the future of gaming and leisure. Events like ARE are a good reminder that great partnerships isn’t about complexity, it’s about making things work better for real people, in real venues. Now back to the office: more follow‑ups, and a renewed appreciation for quality conversations. Pissssst …… Something very exciting is happening at ASK Global over the next couple of months... stay tuned in for the next update. #ARE #FinTech #PaymentsInnovation #GamingIndustry #TradeShowLife #FutureOfPayments

The question used to be what happened. Now, it's what should we do about it. Boost Payment Solutions CTO Rinku Sharma told PYMNTS that real-time data is moving B2B payments from retrospective reporting to forward-looking decisioning, and that's the difference between firms that watch their networks and firms that act on them. If onboarding to a payment rail still starts with a PDF, you’re already behind. R‑Cash gives partners a clean API, real‑time webhooks and a sandbox that mirrors production corridors, so you integrate once and start moving value across wallets and banks instead of chasing documentation

If you’re still thinking of payments as an "afterthought" at the end of a sale, you’re already losing customers. I just caught an incredible session with John MacIlwaine (Highnote) and Jay Waters (Lowe's) about why friction is the ultimate silent killer of retail growth. The big takeaway? Payments are moving from the end of the journey to the very front. Here’s the breakdown of how they're changing the game: - Payments as a Front-End Strategy: Moving payment conversations to the start of the journey builds buyer confidence and boosts total spend. -Virtualization is Key: Highnote’s use of ledgers and virtual cards strips away the legacy "clutter" that slows down transactions. -Friction = Lost Sales: Every point of resistance in a transaction is a direct detriment to the bottom line. -Fintech-Led Innovation: Real breakthroughs are coming from agile Fintech partners. -The Two-Year Window: The speakers expect a total transformation in the next couple of years. Modern payments aren't just about moving money anymore; they’re about designing a better experience from the first click. Check it out at highnote.com John MacIlwaine from Highnote and Jay Waters from Lowe's on Reducing Payment Friction at The Fintech Summit. #FintechSummit
