Developer's agentinc workflow's should be seen as a personal/private tool that every developer has, until companies start reflecting for that as well in salaries.

The termination letter that's going viral says everything wrong with tech hiring. A company fired an engineer because he: ❌ Had no prior backend experience ❌ Learned by watching YouTube tutorials ❌ Used ChatGPT and Claude daily ❌ Googled "How To Fix This Before Standup" But here's the kicker: His performance was stronger than several experienced employees. They fired him anyway. Then asked: "Can we have the prompts you were using?" This isn't about incompetence. It's about gatekeeping. We reward credentials over outcomes. Pedigree over performance. We pretend everyone learned "the right way" while secretly leaning on Stack Overflow, AI, and frantic pre-standup fixes. If AI tools make you more productive, that's a SKILL. If you deliver results despite unconventional learning, that's RESOURCEFULNESS. The industry says it wants results. Then fires people who get them. To every "Mr. Adewale" out there: Your methods work. Your results speak for themselves. Find companies that care about what you ship — not how you learned to ship it. They exist. Keep building. 🚀 Thoughts? Has tech hiring lost the plot? #TechHiring #SoftwareEngineering #AI #CareerAdvice #FutureOfWork
