It was an absolute delight to be able to sit and talk with Ben Wikler in New York last night about his new book This is the Plan. Extra special to be joined by super star New York Attorney General Tish James who really spoke about exactly what's on the line. Ben has learned so much in his time serving in politics and he has a sharp, clear and methodical approach to reclaiming democracy. The thing that stands out the most to me in this book--and resonates with my own work--is that joy and community building is central to Ben's plan, not an after thought.
