Today is a special day as I reach 66 and claim my old age pension ! It has made me reflect on my working life . I joined Hambro Life in 1977 and stayed there just over 26 years , I then joined St. James’s Place and worked there for just over 16 years . I know have my own consultancy business . I realise just how lucky I have been firstly supported by my wife Nicole , we have been together 38 years and have two great daughters . Also I have worked and still work with amazing people . I have been lucky enough to work with some of the legends in Financial Services who taught me so much . I have made some great friends and still enjoy working .. What would I do different do you know what hardly anything . I feel very priveleged , hard work and humour really does pay off . I am looking forward to receiving me first OAP payment !
