A lot of business owners and freelancers we know have less going on than usual right now. Between the AI influx, summer holidays and dwindling clients / budgets summer this year especially can genuinely feel like a drought. So I wanted to share three ways to find your oasis in it 🌴 1. Choose to see the downtime as a good thing It feels better when the work is flowing and the briefs are landing. But honestly? We all need this. We need days off to regulate our nervous system, rest our brains, spend time with family and finally get to the stuff we keep pushing back. Planning and researching. Trying something new with your team and ops. Downtime is necessary for growth. Without it, we CANNOT grow. It may feel uncomfortable but the quiet is not the enemy. 2. Plant some seeds A slower period is one of the best times to invest in yourself or your business. Pick up something you have been curious about, go deeper into something you already do well or get properly comfortable with AI in your workflow because the landscape is shifting fast and now is a good time to catch up. Let me know if you need some tips on where to start. On our end at Jus Agency we are using this time to refine our strategy process and test new tools so we're ready for Q3. 3. Give yourself permission to do absolutely nothing No agenda. No optimising. Just actual rest with loved ones. Time off with zero obligations is how you come back with something genuinely in the tank. What are you doing with the quiet? ☀️
Julia Ager Vargas The temptation is to fill every empty hour. Sometimes the smarter move is to leave enough space for better thinking.
I hope you'd spend your downtown very well Julia Ager Vargas 💓 It's great to see you back with such a energy 💪 and hopping to see brief flows in upcoming days 😄
