Today’s a big day — for me, and for the future of policing. In a couple of weeks I’ll be joining PoliceAI as their first Head of Communications and Engagement, and we’re formally launching today. PoliceAI is the new national centre for AI in policing — hosted by the College of Policing, working across all 43 forces in England and Wales to identify, test and roll out AI tools that free up officers’ time, improve outcomes for victims, and bring more offenders to justice. My job is to make sure the policing community, the tech sector and the public all understand what that means — and why it matters. Hi Kat - I’m a serving Special Constable and an IT professional. After 12.5 years using police systems, I’ve seen first‑hand how much time is lost because our platforms don’t talk to each other. So, I built a solution. The system brings incident management, case file management, and evidence handling together in one place — with integrated AI to streamline processes and support officers from first report to file submission. I’d welcome the opportunity to demo this to PoliceAI.
