As March comes to a close, I’m reflecting on a whirlwind two days in New York City where I was recognized as an honoree in Ragan’s Top Women in Communications, Class of 2026. Being named in the Brand Storyteller category is especially meaningful at a moment when storytelling is having a real resurgence, once again recognized as a force to shape reputations, build trust and create emotional connection. At the BBC I told some incredible stories to global audiences. I took those skills into tech PR and now into sports and entertainment, where shaping the identity of the Seattle Kraken and contributing to Seattle’s story has been one of the most energizing chapters of my career. Across every role, the through-line has been telling good stories in compelling ways, that persuade, inspire and change people and places.
