Proof I do actually work with men… 😉 Yesterday we hosted our first Diamond Boardroom Breakfast in the beautiful Morgan Room at The Ivy, and what a brilliant morning it was. A huge thank you to Campbell Ure - Making More With My Clients from The Alternative Board Glasgow for facilitating the session and introducing our Diamond members to the peer board concept. The morning was very much a pilot to explore how this style of strategic boardroom discussion could complement our Diamond membership, and it certainly gave us plenty to think about. There were some brilliant conversations, fresh perspectives shared and some really valuable takeaways around the table. A big thank you to our Diamond members who came along, embraced the format and were so open in sharing their experiences and challenges. It’s always a privilege to watch brilliant women support one another in such an honest and thoughtful way. Thank you also to Suzanne Gilchrist and the team at The Ivy Glasgow for looking after us so well. The Morgan Room was the perfect setting for a morning of strategic conversation (and excellent grub and coffee!). Sadly, I completely forgot to get a group photo (🤦🏼♀️), so instead here’s a snap of Campbell and me in the gorgeous Morgan Room. Now to reflect on the feedback and explore what happens next.
Thank you for such a fab morning, always so great to get in the room with other amazing business owners and get the opportunity to take a step back and reflect on where things are at, and where you want them to go.
It was a great way to spend a Wednesday morning. My brain is fired up with new ideas and angles. How lovely to get the rare opportunity to: be expertly facilitated, have space to work on the business and do that with incredible people in the room. Huge thanks!
