Liina Kalamees’ Post

I’ve been working on some exciting things lately! 🛰️ 🚘 Building a brand is one thing (still doing that), but bringing a complex technology to market is another. Over the years, sitting closely with developers and engineers and seeing a product evolve from concept to deployment has been one of the most rewarding parts of working in deep tech. Especially in satellite connectivity and mobility, where technology moves fast and no two days are the same. Product marketing sits at the intersection of technology, strategy and storytelling. It is not just about positioning a product, but understanding how it gets built, how it solves real problems, and how it can be made usable and commercially relevant. I’ve probably knocked on our Senior Application Systems Engineer Lukas Grillmayer's door a hundred times these past days, trying to understand every bolt and cable in our newest solution. Proud to share a glimpse of what we’ve been building with our AI-driven MOVE Smart-Switching Solution and the new Slim Kit, covered in beautiful chrome. A lot of thought has gone into making deployment simpler and faster, because adoption often starts with usability. Very cool to help bring innovations like this from engineering into the real world, together with a brilliant team.

We spent yesterday in Munich filming our MOVE Smart-Switching Solution deployment demo, a good reminder that product innovation is not only about what technology can do, but how easily it can be put into use. A big focus of the shoot was our Slim Kit, a major step forward in making hybrid connectivity easier to deploy in real mobility environments. Compared to the previous version, the new Slim Kit has a much smaller footprint, integrates seamlessly with the Starlink Mini antenna, and can be fully installed and operational within about 30 minutes using standard passenger vehicle mounting hardware. That simplicity is a big part of our commercialisation focus. We want customers and partners to test, pilot and deploy the system quickly, without complex integration or long lead times. The solution supports 5G/LTE, NTN satellite connectivity, Ethernet and Wi-Fi, enabling resilient hybrid terrestrial and non-terrestrial connectivity in the field. And while we showcase deployment on a passenger vehicle, the same concept applies far beyond that. MOVE can be deployed across tractors, trucks, drones, forklifts, ships and other mobile or remote assets, wherever reliable, always-available connectivity matters. Some improvements in the MOVE Slim Kit we are particularly excited about: ✅ Fast mounting for rapid vehicle installation ✅ Ruggedised enclosure for use in harsh outdoor mobility environments ✅ Compact, fully integrated connectivity edge node ✅ Faster field deployment across vehicles and locations It is built for operational environments and use cases such as teleoperation, connected vehicles, remote machine monitoring and field robotics. We believe reducing deployment friction is as important as improving connectivity performance. For us, making the product smaller, faster to deploy and easier to use is just as important as advancing connectivity capabilities themselves. Because adoption starts with usability.
