Last night Emma Collins and I headed to You Are The Media’s Summer Party at SBomb in Poole… and what a cracking evening! Silent disco. Harbour views. An incredible sunset. Great conversations. Lots of laughter. It reminded me that the best business communities aren’t built around sales pitches or awkward networking. They’re built around genuine relationships, generosity and creating spaces where people actually enjoy spending time together. Mark Masters has created something really special! Huge credit to him and everyone involved. It’s also a great reminder of what we’re creating with Total Business Network (TBN). We believe business should absolutely help you grow, make connections and win work, but it should be enjoyable too and come from genuine relationships and trust. No pretending to be someone you’re not. No taking ourselves too seriously. Just good people supporting each other, sharing ideas and having a bit of fun along the way.
