More than 70,000 Christians reportedly gathered at dawn on Ponta Negra Beach in Manaus, Brazil, for a massive public worship event. The gathering, known as “Amanhecer Manaus,” brought believers together along the beach and shoreline to sing, pray, and praise God as the day began. Wow. We can get that many to go to a game or a concert. --BUT, they're not educated like us. They don't have medical insurance like us; they pray. There are people in Africa, China, and S.A., AND THEY ' RE PRAYING FOR US! Rich, multi-colored fools. 100 years ago, we didn't have AC, but we knew who The Lord was. A man and a woman worked together for their family, and the kids worked too. Kids weren't confused about feelings. How did we get so stupid in 100 years? He even gave you a guidebook. If you ask Him to show you something with a sincere heart, then open the Bible. He'll blow you away. But open it with a heart of darkness, you won't see anything, 'cause you're already dead, just still breathing, waiting for your end.

Amanhecer Manaus was inspired by a movement called "Desperta" ("Awaken" or "Awaken On a Mission"), started by the Surf House Christian Community in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. The movement began in late 2024 with small sunrise prayer meetings on Campeche Beach. So, unlike centuries-old Christian traditions such as Easter sunrise services, Amanhecer is a very recent Brazilian evangelical movement. It uses the symbolism of dawn to encourage public worship, interdenominational fellowship, and spiritual renewal, with the sunrise serving as a visual reminder of resurrection, hope, and a new beginning. Maybe some day, few of these will embrace the true teaching about resurrection, which will be the a gift of The Holy Spirit. Amin 🙏
